Comfort Care Coalition meetings are now being held on the first Monday and third Saturday of each month. The October meetings will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, 10/6, at 7153 Rico Cove in Germantown and from, 10:00 to 12:00 A.M. on Saturday, 10/18, on the 27th floor of the Clark Tower.
Minutes of the 9/20 meeting follow:
**Further work was done on the bylaws.
**It was agreed that Carla would file our incorporation paperwork as soon as possible.
**Our Rallying Points certification application was reviewed and edited. It has now been
submitted.
**We discussed the possibility of creating a separate mail list for people who are not
interested in being updated about the scheduling of meetings. Such a list would
basically provide updates about CCC activities and accomplishments and would go out
less frequently than our present e-mailings do. If you would like to be switched to this
briefer list (or if you want your name removed entirely from Comfort Care mailings), please
e-mail Emily at efoxhill@aol.com
In order to fulfill the 501(c)(3) requirements regarding organizational structure, officers will be elected at our 10/6 meeting. However, we plan to continue to maintain our present non-hierarchical meeting format. We hope to see you at the next meeting. Regards, Emily
